Heys. Today I helped my dad out in his work, I got to paint the basecode of a door! Lots of fun sia. Firstly, my dad and I went to a nearby coffee shop to have a heavy breakfirst. I had mee pok and milo. :D My dad had laksa and kopi-o. :) Then we went to my dad's workshop and picked up some tools. Thereafter we headed to one of my dad's customer's house. After the job we went to have lunch and bought paint for the door. Mahogany. After lunch, we had a break/nap at my dad's workshop. I pratically slept like a dead log for approximately 1 hr. I was ordered to open the tin of paint. I had no idea how to open the tin and I just took a screwdriver to pry it open. I nearly cut my hand sia. When the tin finally opened, it 'sprayed' some sticky paint onto my hand. Grh. It was hard to get the paint out nia, I had to use thinner. There was lots of other 'small jobs' for moi to handle before even touching the roller(brush for the paint). My roller was fluffy but after I dipped it into the paint it was -oh-so-not-damn-fluffy-anymore. Frankly speaking I was quite satisfied with my work, the paint was evenly spread out if I say so myself -ego ego-. Teehee. At the end of the day/work, I got my salary of $15! Not much but money for something I enjoy was -oh-not-too-bad. :D
